Facilities – Everything you need to know


To secure your reservation we need your credit card details as deposit and that you agree to our cancellation policy.
We will not charge your card only if cancellation policy applies.
Cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival – NO CHARGE
Cancellation within 7 days - 1 night rate will be charged
Cancellation within 4 days – 50 % of booked nights will be charged
Cancellation within 2 days and less, No Shows or shortened stays: full accommodation price will be charged
We accept payment by Tongan Cash, local Debit, VisaCard, MasterCard and Amex

Seaview Lodge is dedicated to green hotel policies and have taken action to reduce our carbon footprint, save energy, recycle, reduce water consumption and conserve natural resources. We have installed solar panels to conserve energy as well as using bio-degradable healthy cleaning products. We don’t believe in waste and toxic plastics.

Tonga, officially Pule′ Fakatu′i ′o Tonga (the Kingdom of Tonga), is an archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean, 176 islands stretches over a distance of about 800 kilometers (500 miles) in a north-south line located at about a third of the distance from New Zealand to Hawaii.

The Tongan dollar is the Pa′anga and comes in $1,$2,$5,$10,$20,$50 & $100 dollar denominations. While most major credit cards are accepted (usually with a fee) in Tonga and there are over 200 EFTPOS outlets, it is important to note that Tonga is essentially a cash society, many cafés and guest houses only accept cash. Also Taxi drivers often claim not to have change, so small denomination notes are a good idea. And all visitors should make sure they have sufficient funds to pay for services.

Main centers have banking and money exchange facilities provided by ANZ, BSP, Western Union, Moneygram- there is also transfers available through Digicel and Wantok. There are also numerous ATM machines in the town centers.

It's no problem at all if you Vegetarian, Vegan or do not eat Seafood or Meat, our Chef will create a delicious menue for you according to your preferences.

Tonga's businesses operate Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30pm and on Saturday fro 8:30am to 12 noon. It is important to note that all businesses are closed on Sundays. This includes most cafés and bars. Food, is available in hotels and resorts.

Tipping is is always appreciated as a reward for good service.

Electricity is 240 volts AC/50 cycles. Most modern appliances such as mobile phones, computers, etc. have internal dual voltage. So you will only need a twin prong adapter with round poles. Buy a set, with converter, before you leave your country, if you are intending to use any other devices.
