To secure a reservation we need you to supply credit card details as a deposit and agree to our cancellation policy. We will only charge a deposit to your card if a cancellation fee is required.

When is a cancellation fee charged?
Cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival – NO CHARGE
Cancellation within 7 days - 1 night rate will be charged
Cancellation within 4 days – 50 % of booked nights will be charged
Cancellation within 2 days or less, no-shows or shortened stays: full accommodation price will be charged

Tonga, officially Pule′ Fakatu′i ′o Tonga (the Kingdom of Tonga), is an archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean, 176 islands stretches over a distance of about 800 kilometers (500 miles) in a north-south line located at about a third of the distance from New Zealand to Hawaii.

The Island is a 3 to 5-hour flight from New Zealand or Australia and only a 90-minute flight from Fiji.

Yes, we can book your Fuaʻamotu International Airport transfers to and from Seaview Lodge. We offer a safe & reliable airport transfer service with meet and greet at arrivals. Please email reception before arriving in Tonga to confirm your transfers.

The current cost for airport transfers is TOP 55 one way, per passenger. Prices are subject to change as we use an external company, however we will confirm the price for your airport transfers upon booking.

Your room booking at Seaview Lodge includes a complimentary light continental breakfast and unlimited Wi-Fi.

Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is by 11:00am.

For guaranteed early check-in, we recommend your room is reserved one night in advance and a full day charge would apply.

The official check-out time is 11:00am.

At Seaview Lodge, 24-hour check-in is possible by arrangement. Please contact us by phone or email before your stay to let our team know if you require a late check-in. If you arrive after 10pm our night watch team will check you in.

Yes, Seaview Lodge has complimentary WiFi for guests.

Electricity is 240 volts AC/50 cycles. Most modern appliances such as mobile phones, computers, etc. have internal dual voltage. So you will only need a twin prong adapter with round poles. Buy a set with a converter before you depart for Tonga if you are intending to use any other devices.

Seaview Restaurant is open daily from Wednesday to Sunday.

We are happy to accommodate most dietary needs or restrictions to ensure you have a delightful dining experience with us. As some specialty ingredients or alternatives for those with dietary requirements (such as gluten-free cereals or breads) can be hard to find in Tonga, please contact us before dining and we will do our best to look after you.

Yes, we offer laundry & ironing services at Seaview Lodge. There will be a laundry form and bag in the bedroom closet.

To use our laundry service please complete the form according to your items that require washing and leave along with the laundry bag for collection by our housekeeping staff OR hand it to one of our reception staff.

Your laundry will be delivered back to your room the following day. If you wish to have an express service, please inform our reception staff of a specific return time.

Most businesses in Tonga operate Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and on Saturday fro 8:30am to 12 noon.
It is important to note that all businesses are closed on Sundays. This includes most cafés and bars.
You'll still be able to find food available in hotels and resorts on Sundays.

It is important to note that Tonga is essentially a cash society, with many cafés and guest houses only accepting cash. Small denomination notes are essential for cafes, taxis and the like to avoid awkward situations.

The Tongan dollar is the Pa′anga and comes in $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 & $100 dollar denominations.

Most major credit cards are accepted (usually with a fee) in Tonga and there are over 200 EFTPOS outlets.There are also numerous ATMs, banking and money exchange facilities in town centers.

Before arriving in Tonga all visitors must have sufficient funds to pay for services.

Tipping isn't mandatory in Tonga, but is always appreciated as a sign of gratitude or to reward good service if you enjoyed your meal, stay, or experience.

Seaview Lodge has free WiFi, so you can use WhatsApp, Facetime and Messenger to call friends and family.

Alternatively, Tonga has two major telcos; Tonga Communications Corporation TCC, and Digicel Tonga. Both offer satellite connection, email, telephone and mobile phone services.
If you plan to use your cellphone in Tonga, please check that your phone is compatible with the GSM and data frequencies and is unlocked for all phone networks before travelling. Even if your provider offers international roaming in Tonga this can be very expensive, so we recommend purchasing a prepaid SIM card from local providers Digicel or U-Call at the airport or various retail locations.

Seaview Lodge is dedicated to green hotel policies and has taken action to reduce our carbon footprint, save energy, recycle, reduce water consumption and conserve natural resources. We have installed solar panels to conserve energy, and use biodegradable cleaning products throughout the lodge.
